Immigration Paralegal

Bretz & Coven, LLP seeks a paralegal for deportation defense and family immigration. Qualified candidates must be fluent in Spanish. At least 2 or 3 years of experience is preferred. However, candidates without experience will be considered if they have college credits and show an eagerness and aptitude to learn the job. The position requires working closely with lawyers and specializing in the immigration issues of the firmâ??s large Dominican client base. It involves the completing of applications and forms; gathering of supporting documents; and drafting of correspondence to courts, lawyers, government agencies, and clients. Other requirements for this position include: written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, self-organizing skills, deadline meeting skills, interpersonal skills, team-orientation, customer service skills, PC skills, multi-tasking ability, and the ability to cope with pressure.
