Natasha Chisty is an Associate Attorney at Bretz & Coven, LLP and concentrates in removal defense for detained and non-detained individuals. She has successfully litigated complex cases involving asylum, withholding of removal and relief under the Convention against Torture, as well as cancellation of removal and LPR defense, before Immigration Judges across the U.S. Additionally, Ms. Chisty has extensive experience advocating for clients before Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Ms. Chisty has been committed to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system for almost ten years. She makes communication with her clients a priority and she continuously strives to provide her clients with the best immigration solutions possible.
Ms. Chisty is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida. She received her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Ms. Chisty participated in her law school’s Immigration Law clinic through which she worked at the Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Law Unit, helping survivors of domestic violence or gender violence apply for VAWA, U-visa and asylum. Ms. Chisty completed her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University, receiving a B.A. in English Rhetoric and Global Culture. Before law school, she advocated for women and children’s rights through her internships at NOW-NYC, Sakhi for South Asian Women and BRAC Bangladesh. She is fluent in English and Bengali.
